BRAVO Stripped SXSW Stunt
To promote the launch of Bravo’s new show STRiPPED at SXSW Interactive, we took the concept of a flash mob to a new level. We cast a group of models and stripped them to their bare essentials, covered by clever items like cardboard boxes, trash bags, leaves, and laundry baskets, all emblazoned with Bravo and #Stripped branding then took to the streets of Austin, TX to stop traffic in town.
This PR-driven stunt took place over (2) days at SXSW and was built around (65) models hired to target attendees, causing disruption and turning heads in their nude attire, stenciled body paint, and specific costumes to connect directly to the show. Influencers Joshua Peck and Matt Cutshall participated and helped make #stripped a trending topic during SXSW and earned countless press hits; including Adweek, LogoTV, Geeks of Doom, Mashable, ReWire, (+).
Between social, influencer, press, and search impressions, the campaign totaled (121) Million Earned Impressions.
