
Hulu The First + Samsung
Hulu’s original program, The First, is driven by a powerful theme of women at the forefront of science and technology to advance and improve life here on earth and beyond. We leaned into the cultural conversation around young girls and women in STEM by tapping into the power and influence of female leadership to create a contemporary launch platform for the show.
To position this female empowerment theme front and center, we partnered with Samsung 837, an experiential technology space, and various female-led groups to create a multiday event series, “Women First.” The event featured industry trailblazers, showcasing and celebrating powerful women and their career journeys. Women First also featured exclusive screenings of the show and, interactive sessions between fans and our female leaders at Samsung 837. Beyond the programmed content we drove specific series content with touchpoints throughout the entire space leveraging VR, set costumes and props, socially connected photo experiences, viewing lounges and digital art stations.
Throughout the event, #TheFirstonHulu generated over 5 million impressions, uniting women on a global scale around the idea that if you can see her, you can be her.
